Dignity Health and The Rotary Club of Redding West are presenting their 14th annual Taste of Redding in mid-September. Over 1,500 guests are expected to attend.
Over 20 local restaurants will be bringing their signature drinks and food. Some of these restaurants will include Café Paradisio, Country Organics, Dutch Bros, Fusion, Mosaic and Old Mill Eatery Smokehouse. Others will be Taste and See Creamery, Shameless O’Leery’s, Papa Murphy’s, and Elements. Craft beers and wine will be available for tasting. Live bands will be performing on three stages.
Tickets are $50 for wine, beer, and food samplings. Adult food sampling only tickets are $40, and tickets for youth 12 and under will be $30. Organizers suggest purchasing tickets as soon as possible as previous years' events were sold out.
Local businesses may wish to arrange their banner printing soon so they can market their goods and services on Banners affixed to the event’s shade tents.
Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Redding West. This organization supports local improvement projects such as the Cypress Avenue waterfall, Buenaventura Trail benches, and the TR Woods Park Project. It also supports local students with Foothill High School Scholarships and local freshman scholarships.
Taste of Redding 2021 will take place at City Hall’s Sculpture Garden, 777 Cypress Avenue, Sunday, September 12, from noon until 4:00 pm. Parking will be available along Parkview and in City Hall’s southern parking lot.
