Redding revs up for annual festival

The Redding Town Hall and Sculpture Park area is gearing up for our 13th annual Whole Earth & Watershed Festival, which is coming in April.

Over 150 conservation-oriented, fitness, sports, and outdoor-related nonprofits, educational organizations, community groups, government agencies, and businesses will have booths. Entities that participate in these types of events usually get their flyer printing done early and bring Flyers and Business Cards with them. Some booths will be selling goods and many usually pass out Promotional Products.

Attendees are invited to peddle to the festival and use the bike valet in front of City Hall. Gardeners and farmers will be hawking their vegetables, homegrown products, and plants at the Shasta Growers Farmer’s Market, which will be located in back of City Hall in the park.

Younger attendeers will have plenty to do in the Children’s Zone, in the S.T.E.A.M. tents and the petting zoo. There will also be Zorbs, a rock climbing wall, a Bus Party, and educational and creative activities in many of the exhibitors’ booths.

Attendees may wish to enter the event’s Whole Earth Walk About. Passports can be obtained at the Information Booth, any exhibitor booth or from Event Staff. When guests have visited at least one booth in the eight areas, they can turn the passports in at the Information Booth to be entered for prizes.

The 2019 Whole Earth & Watershed Festival will be April 20 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm.
