Redding Marathon set for new year
Many runners here in Redding are gearing up to run one of the three races in the Redding Marathon Events coming toward the end of January 2025.
The course will offer beautiful views of Shasta and Redding in a point-to-point run over paved river trails that run beside the Sacramento River.
The Redding Marathon will have a registration fee of $80.50 with Quarter Zip Long Sleeve t-shirts for swag. This will be a Boston qualifier beginning at 8:00 am.
The Redding Marathon Relay will cost $160 per three-member team. Legs will be 9.7 miles for the first runner, 9.5 miles for the second and 7.0 for the third runner. Runners will receive same swag as for the marathon participants.
The Sundial 5k will cost $27.50 and will include the t-shirts. The start and finish line will be at the Sundial Bridge. Awards will be given to age category winners.
Races like this often have local print shops print the event's logo design on event shirts.
Registration and packet pickup will be Friday, January 17th at Fleet Feet Redding from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and again on Saturday from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. Marathon bibs will be available from 6:00 am to 6:45 am at the Shasta Dam on race day.
