Formerly called Wildways Kickoff Jamboree, the kick-off event for this year's 2025 Wildways event season will be Shasta Land Trust's first ever Redding Roots and Rhythm Festival coming in mid-May.
This three-hour family-friendly event will feature live music from Anna Jae Band and Max Minardi, craft beer, food from local vendors, wine, and desserts for purchase. A silent auction will have a luxury getaway, adventures, outdoor gear, and other items donated by area businesses and associations.
Tickets are $20 if purchased before the event or $25 at the door. Tickets for children from ages 6 to 15 will be $5 presale and $10 at the door. Guests need to get tickets as soon as possible, as the attendance will be capped at 250.
With its theme "Giving Back to the Land," the purpose for the festival is to raise money for the Shasta Land Trust, in its mission to oversee more than 61,000 acres of local forests, agricultural spaces, and waterways. The trust also maintains recreational areas, cultural sites, and wildlife habitats.
Organizers of charity events like this one often go to local Print shops for flyer printing services. They place the Flyers in their different locations and in local businesses and associations connected with them.
The first annual Roots and Rhythm Festival will take place Saturday, May 10 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Danniell Beaver Banks Preserve, Shasta Land Trust, 5170 Bechelli Lane.
