Redding Garden of Lights opens

The 5th annual Redding Garden of Lights will open at the end of November.

Botanical Gardens' 10 acres will be decked with two million lights, animations, and music.

Guests will enter through the Holiday Village and, after enjoying Model Train Town, the first stop will be Candy Cane Lane. Next, the path will lead through a Peppermint Portal and through the Wintry Wildlife area. Once through Meadow Merriment and the Magical Mosaic, attendees may visit the Holiday Shop.

Continuing their journey, holiday revelers will pass through the photo pavilion and little ones may stop and swing on the glowing swings. Next comes the light tunnel, polar path, and the enchanted forest. Brightly lit trees will line the Holiday Alley, and guests will exit the park passing by the heated VIP igloos. The igloos will admit up to eight guests and include gourmet pizzas, prismatic snowflake glasses, two holiday keepsake ornaments, wristbands for unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, and hand warmers. Private Igloo Experience packages range from $400 to $500.

Adult general admission will be $20 to $25, and children's tickets will be from $13 to $18.

Event venues like this often have pictures taken during the event sent to local Print shops to be added to their following year's advertising brochure printing.

Redding Garden of Lights will open Friday, November 22 and run Wednesday through Sundays until January 5, 2025 at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, 844 Sundial Bridge Drive.
