Redding area celebrates Earth Day 2019

The Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center will host this year’s Earth Day 2019 later this month.

The theme this year will be ‘Creating Resilient Communities’. Workshops, presentations and panel discussions will be the focus of the event. There will also be local artists and crafts people displaying and selling their original works. Local charities and organizations will be passing out information about their missions, programs, and services.

Attendees usually like to gather Business Cards at events like this to get in touch with speakers, charities, and artisans at a later date.

There will also be a raffle, bake sale, and a native plant walk. Food and merchandise vendors will also be on site hawking their wares. The organizers have promised that there will be activities for all Redding family members.

The Brother’s Reed will take the Main Stage at 4:00 pm, and Hot Buttered Rum will start the entertainment for the festival the evening before at 6:30 pm at the park’s Upper Lodge.

Earth Day 2019 proponents may consider flyer printing to promote the event, along with social media, radio, and press releases.

Earth Day 2019 will take place from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at City Park, Mt. Shasta (on Nixon Road) on Sunday, April 28. The Eco Expo will start at 11:00 am and close at 4:00 pm.
