The Shasta Library Foundation will soon be presenting its sixth event in its series of cultures from around the world, with the nation of Greece being the focus this time round.
These are fundraising dinners featuring cuisine, beverages, and music from countries around the world. For this “Taste of Greece”, Redding’s own Pat Karch will be at the piano and The Pat Karch Quartet will be furnishing the music for the evening. As in all previous events there will be a live auction.
Tickets for the dinner will be $75 per patron, and table sponsorships are still available. Each table will seat eight guests, and the package will include program acknowledgements and wine. The top two levels will also include special gifts for each guest. These sponsors will want to get their reservations in as soon as possible in order to get their acknowledgements in before the signage, program, and banner printing gets done. Underwriting options are also available and will be acknowledged in the program as well.
All proceeds from these fundraising events will go to the Shasta Library’s Endowment Fund, which supports the Burney, Anderson and Redding Public Libraries, and its projects. Country Club attire will be required.
The event will be Saturday, September, 12, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Redding Civic Auditorium, 700 Auditorium Drive, Redding. Reservations must be made before August 28.
