ShiningCare Inc. will be holding its annual Shining Affair in Redding in mid-February. The elegant evening will be emceed by Kerry Davis and Michelle Nystrom.
After dinner, there will be live and silent auctions that will feature items such as catered dinner party for six and sports tickets. Guests are encouraged to wear their finest bling to vie for the best group, couple, and individual Bling Awards.
A photo booth will be available for those wishing to have a souvenir from the event. People, especially couples or groups, often take the pictures snapped at events such as this to nearby Print shops for duplicates.
The evening will end with dancing and music provided by K.S. Davis Entertainment.
The 2nd Annual Shining Affair Lip Sync Video Challenge is now taking registrations from those wishing to send in videos beforehand of themselves or groups lip-syncing to their favorite tunes. A panel of judges will choose three entries that will perform live during the evening. Attendees will choose the winner of the People’s Choice Award, and a panel of celebrity judges will choose the winner of the 1st Place award.
Awards will also go for pre-recorded inspirational, silly, and fun songs, and honorary song category winners. The entry fee is $25 for individuals and $50 for Gatekeeper, Business, and Senior Care Business Groups.
Shining Affair will take place Saturday, February 12 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Win-River Resort & Casino Event Center.
