Downtown Redding welcomes music festival

Downtown Redding organizations and businesses in partnership with Folk Alliance International Redding Roots Revival Committee are bringing their 3rd Redding Roots Revival Music Festival to town in late September.

The two-day event is to promote Redding, live music, and community cultural and partnerships.

Over 20 Americana music performances are scheduled for the venue’s three stages. Some will be Mother Hips, Rainbow Girls, Joe Craven & the Sometimers, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Brothers Reed, and Hattie & the Moon Howlers. Others will include Annie Coty, The Stone Hearts, Honeybee, Across the Grain, and A Dyar Situation.

Fans of musicians and singers like these often go to original websites and purchase Promotional Products such as hats, T-Shirts, and sweatbands sporting the group or individual’s Logo Design beforehand and wear them to the event.

Along with the music, the festival will also feature local art displays, food trucks, beer gardens, and community activities.

Festival tickets run from $15 teen passes to $45 early bird two-day adult passes.

Steve Poltz House Concert, on Thursday, September 22, at Bridgehouse Bed & Breakfast Patio, 1455 Riverside Drive will be the festival’s pre-party. Advance general admission to the pre-party will be $30 and the performance will start at 7:00 pm. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Redding Roots Revival Music Festival will take place in Downtown Redding, 1540 Division Street from 5:00 pm on September 23 to 10:00 pm on September 24.
