Organization to hold family reunion in Merced

The Wing Family of America will organize a reunion in June at the Italian American Lodge 1351 in Merced.

The Wing Family of America Reunion 2023 is a multi-day event where group members can meet and connect with fellow cousins in the organization. Several activities will be held throughout the reunion, including board meetings, a pizza lunch, and an ice cream social. There will also be a group dinner where guests can learn about the history of Merced and the Wing family's involvement in the community. People are allowed to wear casual attire to all of the meetings.

The Wing Family of America is a non-profit organization comprising of volunteers who are descendants of John Wing and Deborah Batchelder Wing. One of the group's goals is to help maintain communication between the descendants of the Wing family. The organization was formed in 1902 and has grown to over 900 members. People may only become part of the group if they are a blood-related or adopted descendant of one of the Wing family members.

The family reunion will be held from Thursday, June 22 to Saturday, June 24. Tickets to the event's pizza lunch will cost $10 per adult, and admission to the reunion's evening dinner and BBQ lunch will be $35 per adult. Kids aged 6-12 will receive free admission to the activities. Those in charge of group events like this may utilize brochure printing to make programs for attendees.
