Breakthrough Basketball will be holding a summer camp at the University of California, Merced.

The Breakthrough Basketball Shooting & Offensive Skills Camp is a summer program held at the University of California, Merced’s Greg and Cathie Hostetler Court. The specialized training will go over many important topics, like common shooting mistakes, proper body positioning, and how players can develop a quicker release. The camp will also teach children about catch-and-shoot fundamentals, the shooter's mentality, and helpful techniques for creating space on the court.

The coach for the summer camp will be Sarah Hopkins-Chery, the current head coach of the women’s basketball team at the University of California, Merced. She has played basketball at Jefferson College and Park University. Hopkins-Chery was also an NJCAA Academic All-American Scholar-Athlete in 2005 and an honoree at MCCAC Academic All-Conference on two occasions. Coaches like this may use printing services to advertise their camps to students.

The camp will take place from July 8 to July 10. Each session at the camp will last from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The cost to take part in the program is $225 per student. Only children from the 5th grade to the 10th grade may participate in the summer camp. All sessions during the program will be limited to 60 players each to ensure students receive the proper training.
