The Merced County Food Bank will hold a fundraising event at the Merced County Fairgrounds Pavillion Building in November.
The 11th Annual Sharing the Harvest Event is an activity that benefits the Merced County Food Bank’s Senior Brown Bag Program. The evening will include dinner, dancing, and an auction. People can connect with other community members at the party and hear inspiring stories from guest speakers. The Senior Brown Bag Program helps provide food to 3,500 seniors who live in Merced and Mariposa Counties. Those in the program receive food twice per month.
The fundraising goal for the event is $125,000. Companies can help the Merced County Food Bank reach its goal by becoming event sponsors. The packages for this year’s party range from $600 to $10,000. Business owners who participate in the fundraiser can get benefits like logo representation on the event Banners and colored ads in the program. Other sponsor-exclusive perks include unlimited drink bracelets and appreciation baskets.
The Sharing the Harvest Event will be on Saturday, November 2nd from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The ticket cost for the dinner and auction is $60 per person, though attendees can receive free admission to the event if they bring two Bags of nonperishable food. Organizations in charge of similar fundraisers can use banner printing to help their causes be noticed by consumers.
