Play Adventures in Merced will hold its annual fundraiser in March to help fund its operations.
The Escape From Adulthood Fundraiser is a gala where parents can play like kids whilst their children participate in a formal dinner party. Participants in the event can work on art projects and make structures at G Street, a new section of the Play Adventures facility. Guests will be treated to a buffet-style dinner with live music entertainment, and can take part in a dessert auction. Drinks will be available to purchase at the facility.
Business owners can support the event by purchasing one of Play Adventures' sponsorship packages. The options range from $500 to $10,000 and include perks such as complimentary drink tickets for the gala, a customizable tapestry that can be hung on the venue's fence, and social media recognition. Those who pay $5,000 will receive a shout-out recording from the kids at Play Adventures. Businesses have until February 14 to purchase a sponsorship package.
The fundraiser gala will be on Saturday, March 9 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Tickets to the adults-only event will cost $100 per person. The price of the children's gala is $60 per child, which includes dinner, a movie, and a glowstick dance party.
