The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) will host a four-day convention in Merced.
The IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference is an event where practicing engineers and researchers can gather and partake in interactive discussions. Several speakers will be at the convention, like Anna Stefanopoulou, Sreekant Narumanchi, and Carl Bonfiglio. Other activities at the event include poster sessions, tutorial sessions, and the Vehicular Technology Society Motor Vehicles Challenge. The convention also accepts papers from engineers.
The IEEE is a group interested in bettering humanity by advancing technology. The organization comprises professions in the electrical, electronic, and computing fields. The group was created in 1963 after the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers merged. Those who become members of the IEEE receive benefits such as product discounts, networking opportunities, and access to group-exclusive resources. Membership dues for Americans will range from $209 to $212.
The conference on electrified vehicles will take place from November 1 to 4. Companies interested in attending the IEEE’s convention can pay $1,750. All exhibitors will receive logo acknowledgment on the organizer’s site. Organizations may become a workshop supporter for $3,500 and submit a 90-minute tutorial to the event. Those who offer workshops at conventions such as this may use brochure printing to provide guests with resources to bring home.
