A fun and educational dog-themed program will be held at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center in February.
Doggy Fun Day is a community festival where dog owners and their pets can participate in workshops and enrichment activities. The classes at the fest will cover topics such as grooming and obedience. Attending dogs may also have their nails trimmed during the event. Those who own reactive canines are asked to place a muzzle on their pets before bringing them to the festival. Guests will be served lunch, and there will be chances for visitors to earn prizes.
The organizer of the fest is Ancestral Companions Dog Training, a business that helps pet owners bridge the communication gap between themselves and their pooches. The dog trainers at the organization include Juan Luzuriaga, Maria Luzuriaga, and Allie. People can pay for multi-week training programs with the group to help modify the behaviors of their dogs and teach their pets new tricks. The company has also organized lectures such as Master Your Walk and Overcoming Obstacles for a Happier Life.
The dog fest will be on Sunday, February 5 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets to the event will cost $50 for those who own dogs and $30 for spectators. Training organizations that put together family-friendly festivals such as this may promote their fairs to the community by using flyer printing.
