Merced gets head start on weddings

The Merced International Wedding Festival will provide hundreds of ideas and services for upcoming brides, grooms, and their families.

Meeting wedding professionals and service providers in one location makes the planning easier and the stress less. Fun and useful events will take place at the festival too, and the first 100 brides in line will receive a free bridal veil. Live fashion shows will present the new designs for the year and seasons. Wedding dress suppliers will be on hand to assist with ideas, creation and selection.

House Kitty Photo Booth will offer a fun opportunity for pictures of attendees at the festival. Professional photographers will visit with the guests while providing ideas and related costs.

Exhibitors will be available to display products and services. If a wedding gown is not needed, visiting with the vendors is a good time to do so during the fashion show, as it will not be as busy.

Printing services can assist with preparing self-addressed labels with the bride’s information and wedding date on them. These are handy and provide a quick way to go through the various areas rather than writing the information dozens of times.

The Merced International Wedding Festival will take place on January 13, at the Pavilion at Merced Fairgrounds. Banner printing is an ideal method to convey directional information. The cost is $15 per festival ticket.
