Club Mercedes in Merced will be holding a semi-formal event in September to celebrate a milestone year.
Club Mercedes' 75th Anniversary is a celebratory event and dinner where members and their guests can gather to honor the organization. The club is a non-profit group that supports local school and sports teams by being their sponsor and holding fundraiser dinners. Past events organized by the organization include the Club Mercedes 8th Annual BBQ Rib Cook Off, Post Valentine’s Day Lounge Party, and Annual Beers and Brats Scholarship Fundraiser.
Entertainment for the club anniversary will be provided by the RJae Haas Band, a versatile group of performers who can play genres like Latin rock and classic rock. RJae Haas is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band and has worked with performers such as Los Chicos Del 512, Rick Torres, and Mr. JC Smith. Other members of the band include Denise Gomez, Misael Flores, and Devin Lesneski. The group can be booked for occasions like concerts, parties, and corporate events.
The anniversary party will be held on Friday, September 16 from 5:30 pm to midnight. Tickets will cost $30 per person. Only members of Club Mercedes will be allowed to take part in the celebration.
