The Veteran Craft Fair Family Holiday Bazaar is taking place early next month in Merced.
Presented by the American Legion Post 83, the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 83, and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 83, proceeds will be donated to the Veterans Memorial Building and local veterans’ needs.
The upcoming craft fair will both benefit local veterans and kick off the annual holiday gift-buying season in Merced. There will be live musical entertainment, food and drink for sale, and a raffle. Other family-friendly activities are also planned.
The emphasis, however, will be on the arts and crafts vendors who will be selling their handmade and original items. Items expected to be offered for sale will include works of art, clothing, and unique jewelry pieces. Shoppers will probably be able to find the perfect gift for a friend or family member. Booths are still available for a donation of $40; they will be set up both inside and outdoors.
No doubt many Merced residents will be happy to support their local veterans by attending this event. Local printing services companies may be asked to provide signage and advertising materials.
The Veteran Craft Fair will be held at American Legion Post 83 on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Admission is free of charge. To find out more about this event or to become a vendor, call 209-722-0940.
