The Diablo View Rotary Club and Sustainable Contra Costa are hosting a bingo fundraiser in Lafayette this May.
The fundraiser will include dinner, which will be served buffet-style, dancing, and other activities along with bingo games. The event is ‘70s-themed, and attendees are encouraged to wear ‘70s-style outfits. Prizes will be awarded for the best attire. Attendees will be able to enter raffles as well. Bingo cards are included with the ticket price, but guests will have the option to purchase additional cards during the evening. They will also receive a dauber to mark their cards during the bingo games. Organizations often use printing services to produce bingo cards for this type of event.
Tickets are available now on the Rotary Club’s website and cost $70 per person. The Diablo View Rotary Club partners with other local non-profits to create volunteer opportunities for its members. It also raises money for both local and international organizations depending on members’ interests and priorities. Sustainable Contra Costa works on sustainability efforts like clean air and zero waste initiatives through educational programs, waste-reduction challenges and other programs. All proceeds from the bingo night will support the two organizations.
The ‘70s Bingo Night Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, May 20, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, at Creekside Commons in Lafayette.
