Lafayette is hosting its annual Art, Wine and Music Festival once again this September.
The two-day festival is the largest in Contra Costa County and has been taking place since 1996. Organizers expect around 85,000 people to visit the festival during the weekend. There will be more than 300 art vendors and 25 wine and beer booths for attendees to browse. Live music will be performed throughout the event on three different stages. The festival is appropriate for all ages, and there will be three kid zones with activities including rides and games.
Art vendors will sell a range of items including jewelry, ceramics, woodworked items, soaps, furniture, and clothing. The Local Artists Alley section of the fair will highlight artists who live and work in the Lafayette area. Vendors at this type of arts event often use flyer printing services to promote their work.
The festival is free to attend, and free parking is available at the Lafayette BART lot. A shuttle will be provided between the parking lot and the festival. There is a cost for the rides in the kid zones. Visitors can find the music schedule and other details on the festival website.
The Lafayette Art & Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, September 17th from 10:00am to 7:00pm, and Sunday, September 18th from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
