The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is hosting a sidewalk sale to promote local businesses this July.
As part of the event, downtown Lafayette’s businesses and restaurants will be offering special sales. This will include both in-store promotions and outdoor sidewalk displays. Some of the businesses that participated last year include Bel & Bunna’s Books, Clocks, Etc., First Mile Cycle Works, Roundup Saloon and Solano Jewelers. Promotions will vary, including free samples, storewide discounts, and specials on select products. The Park Theater Trust, which owns the town’s historic Park Theater, will also have a table where visitors can learn about the Trust’s plans for future cinema and arts events. The Lafayette Chamber will host a free breakfast at the beginning of the sale, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Coffee and pastries will be served in Plaza Park. For additional dining options, shoppers can enjoy breakfast, brunch, and lunch specials at participating restaurants. Many restaurants will have space available for outdoor dining. Businesses often use banner printing services to advertise during this type of community event.
The Lafayette Citywide Sidewalk Sale will take place on Saturday, July 30, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm throughout Lafayette. The free Chamber of Commerce breakfast will begin at 10:00 am.
