Lafayette’s historic Town Hall Theatre is partnering with Front Porch Music to host a concert this January.
The show will feature four bands and artists. Doors will open an hour before the performance begins to give attendees time to visit the lobby bar and mingle with the musicians. There will be a $1 discount on wine and beer. Michael Ching will perform in the lobby during this time as well. The lineup will feature bluegrass group The Sweet Sally Band, guitar and harmony duo Mark and Cindy Lemaire, acoustic funk band Brian Skinner and Friends and uke magic musicians Jen Courter and Ron Geren.
Tickets are available on Front Porch Music’s website now. The cost for general seating is $20 per ticket. Front Porch Music has been hosting similar shows each quarter for the last three years. Performance groups often use printing services to create programs for their events.
Front Porch Music is a Lafayette-based nonprofit that supports adult musicians and the local music scene. Artists usually play acoustic styles and genres like bluegrass, country and folk. In addition to the concerts, the group also provides educational workshops and a digital networking platform for local artists.
The Front Porch Music Presents winter show will take place on Friday, January 10 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Town Hall Theatre in Lafayette. Doors open at 6 pm.
