Lafayette Chamber to host award dinner
The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Businessperson of the Year dinner this February.
The event will honor Businessperson of the Year winner Tom Stack. It will include a reception, a sit-down dinner, and the State of City Address, which will be delivered by Lafayette Mayor Carl Anduri.
The Chamber will also introduce its 2023 Board of Directors. Stack is a realtor who focuses on relationships over transactions. He has been a Chamber member since 2007 and is involved with other Lafayette organizations, including the Town Hall Theatre and Lafayette Little League. He is also a lifelong music lover who has licensed merchandise for names like the Grateful Dead and Carlos Santana.
Those planning to attend the dinner should purchase tickets in advance on the Chamber website. The cost is $95 per person or $930 for a table of 10. Attendees will be able to choose from chicken, salmon, or a vegetarian option for their entrees when purchasing their tickets. The evening will begin with a no-host bar, and dinner will follow at 7:00 pm. Organizations often work with print shops to design programs and other printed materials for this type of event.
The Businessperson of the Year Dinner will take place on Friday, February 3, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa.
