Lafayette Chamber to host annual awards dinner

The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Business Person of the Year and State of the City Dinner event this winter.

The 2024 dinner will honor Hollie’s Homegrown owner Hollie Lucas-Alcalay. Hollie’s Homegrown is a small herb farm that produces a variety of herbs for teas, cooking, medicinal properties and bath products. Organizations often use banner printing services to promote award winners’ businesses at this type of event.

Lafayette Mayor Gina Dawson will give a State of the City Address, with includes an update on local government and development initiatives.

The evening will begin with a no-host bar and time for mingling from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A sit-down dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. Tickets and the full dinner menu will be available on the Chamber website as of tomorrow, January 3. Seats will be limited, so those planning to attend are encouraged to buy their tickets as quickly as possible. Attendees with dietary restrictions should note these when registering. They can also list seating preferences on the registration form. Those purchasing tickets can pay by credit card (a 3.5% convenience fee applies) or choose the “invoice me” option during registration and mail a check to the Chamber.

The dinner will take place on Tuesday, February 1 at the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
