Meals on Wheels Diablo Region is hosting a fundraising dinner and auction this June.
The 4th Annual Dining to Deliver Gala and Auction will include dinner, wine, dancing and a live auction. Entertainer and experienced charity auctioneer Ellen Toscano will run the auction, and local meteorologist Jeff Ranieri will act as emcee.
Attendees can choose from chicken, salmon or vegetarian dinner options and note their seating preferences during registration. Interested businesses can also sign up as sponsors on the website. Details about pricing and benefits are listed on the registration page. Organizations often use poster printing services to recognize sponsors at their events. Businesses and individuals can also support the event by donating auction items.
Proceeds from the event will support Meals on Wheels Diablo Region. The nonprofit provides a range of services for seniors in Lafayette and across Contra Costa County. In addition to the flagship meal delivery program for homebound seniors, it hosts lunchtime cafe events, makes home safety improvements to reduce the risk of falls and organizes visits to seniors to reduce isolation.
Tickets are available on the Meals on Wheels Diablo Region’s website now. The price is $175 for an individual ticket and $1500 for a table for 10. The Dining to Deliver Gala will take place on Saturday, June 14 starting at 5:30 pm at Blackhawk Museum in Danville.
