Lafayette is hosting its 27th Annual Art and Wine Festival this September.
The festival includes art vendors, wine and beer, food vendors, live music, and activities for kids. More than 300 artists and crafters are scheduled to host booths, including more than 20 Lafayette-based vendors whose booths will be located in the Local Artist Alley off Lafayette Circle. Live music performances will be taking place on four different stages throughout the weekend. A full schedule is available on the festival website.
For attendees with kids, the Community Stage will offer family-friendly performances. Four Kid Zones will have rides and activities including a climbing wall, slides, a train and mini golf. Attendees will need to purchase tickets for the Kid Zone attractions. Ticket booths will be located near the individual rides.
Attending the event, including the music performances, is free. Parking is also free, and shuttles will be available between the lots and the festival. Adults 21 and older can purchase drink tickets and packages on the day of the event. Tickets will not be available in advance. Several local businesses are sponsoring the festival. Sponsors often give out Promotional Products at this type of event.
The Lafayette Art and Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday, September 22 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
