A singer/songwriter whose music has been used in film and television will visit Hollywood.
Stan Bush won a Daytime Emmy for his song “Til I Was Loved by You,” a duet he performed with Robin Beck. It won in the category of “Best Original Song,” and was used in the soap “Guiding Light.”
Bush’s best-known songs are probably “The Touch,” and “Dare,” which were used in the film “Transformers: The Movie.” “The Touch” was used again in 2009 in “Guitar Hero,” and High Moon Studios remixed it in 2013 for use in the video game “Transformer: Fall of Cybertron.” The song has been featured in films like “Boogie Nights” and “Bumblebee,” and on television in programs such as “American Dad,” “Chuck,” and “The Goldbergs.”
Stan Bush began his career in 1979, when he was playing guitar with the band Boulder. CBS Records signed Bush shortly after that, and he released his self-titled debut album in 1983. Four years later, he released “Stan Bush & Barrage,” his most successful album, which included “The Touch.”
He now has 15 studio albums to his credit, dropping “Born for Battle,” which showcases his powerful voice, in 2025. He has sung on albums by stars such as Alice Cooper and worked with renowned producers like Georgio Moroder.
