Two rising stars are coming to the Troubadour in West Hollywood for one dynamic performance.
Ari Abdul and Isabel LaRosa will be sharing the stage at an upcoming concert that promises to be standing room only.
Abdul grew up in Brooklyn, with an Ecuadorian mother who loved to play Latin albums, and a Costa Rican father who adored classic rock. Her brothers threw their preference for metal and hip-hop into the mix, leaving her with a love of music of all kinds. By the time she was 14, Abdul was playing electric guitar, but was shy about performing. She tried singing in a choir, but discovered that was not for her. When she finally began writing her own songs, she knew she’d found her place.
LaRosa is a native of Annapolis, Maryland, with an American father and Cuban mother. Like Abdul, LaRosa was immersed in music most of her life, as her father played the saxophone in jazz clubs. She and her brother went with him, and LaRosa would sing while her brother played the guitar. She and her brother Thomas eventually began writing songs together.
Both young women launched their careers on TikTok, and Abdul has appeared at Lollapalooza, where she was a hit and sold out her first tour. Abdul and LaRosa will bring their Latin-flavored music to the Troubadour on March 8. When events like this are scheduled, organizers often work with poster printing to promote them.
