Trevor Noah is a native of Johannesburg, South Africa, and got his start there in 2002, hosting several roles for the South African Broadcasting. He went on to host his own show, “Tonight with Trevor Noah,” in 2010 and 2011.
Noah was the Senior International Correspondent for The Daily Show in 2014, and succeeded Jon Stewart as the show’s host in 2015, a position he retained until 2022. Noah has won numerous awards and accolades, including two Primetime Emmy Awards. The Hollywood Reporter twice named him one of “The 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media,” and he was called one of the world’s 100 most influential people by Time Magazine in 2018. He won the Erasmus Prize, given to those who make “extraordinary contributions to culture,” in 2023.
He has continued to amuse audiences by hosting the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2022 and the Grammys multiple times. A review says:
“Noah is so . . . supremely at ease on stage, that it can feel like coasting; like a holiday for a man who has spent seven hard years at satire’s coalface. You can’t deny he’s earned it, nor that it’s fun to come along for the ride.”
Trevor Noah will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl on May 11. Organizers of events like this often use poster printing to create advertising for them.
