The 35th MARIACHI USA is the premiere event in the United States that celebrates this music. The upcoming performance at the Hollywood Bowl will be the 35th concert, and it is the nation’s longest-running Latino event. It has become a staple at the Bowl.
The lineup this year brings bands from all over the world including Ballet Folklórico De Mi Tierra, Mariachi Los Camperos, Mariachi Campanas de America, Mariachi Los Reyes, Mariachi Divas, and Mariachi Cobre.
Ballet Folklórico De Mi Tierra formed in 2015, and is based in Las Vegas. It is a professional group of dancers passionate about traditional Mexican ballet folklórico.
Mariachi Las Camperos is based in Los Angeles and has won two Grammys, one for their 2009 album “Amor, Dolor Y Lágrimas: Música Ranchera,” which won Best Regional Mexican Album, and 2020’s “De Ayer Para Siempre,” which won as Best Regional Mexican Music Album (Including Tejano).
Mariachi Campanas de America is from San Antonio, and Mariachi Los Reyes is Los Angeles-based. Mariachi Divas is unusual as the group is an all-female ensemble based in Los Angeles.
Mariachi Cobre was established in 1971, and has been performing at Epcot Center in Disney World for almost 40 years. They were originally based in Tucson, Arizona.
MARIACHI USA is scheduled for June 8. Organizers of events like this will often turn to printers who use poster printing to create advertising.
