All Fremont area children ages 2-10 are invited to register to take part in a free holiday event.
Candy canes are a popular symbol of the Christmas season, and are one of the top seasonal Promotional Products for all organizations. With that in mind, Macaroni Kid has sponsored a candy cane hunt that will include thousands of the sweet treats hidden for children to discover.
Macaroni Kid is a nationwide e-newsletter service and website that hosts events for children and families, as well as advertising upcoming community events.
Specially marked candy canes found during the holiday hunt are redeemable for additional prizes on the day of the event. There will also be face painting, a visit from Santa, and numerous crafts and other holiday treats on display and available for purchase during the hunt.
Spots are limited, so advance registration is required to attend the hunt, although there is no admission fee. All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to enter.
The event will take place on Saturday, December 2 from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Central Park Teen Center at 39700 Paseo Padre Parkway in Fremont. If the weather is uncooperative, an alternative indoor location will be announced. People can register for a time slot at the Fremont website, or more information, call (510) 494-4300.
