Fremont is hosting a job fair for students this March.
The event is being hosted by the Fremont Unified School District and is being held at the Fremont Downtown Event Center.
Job openings and internships will be available to be explored at the fair, including possible employer interviews and immediate hires, depending on what openings are available.
Industry categories include grocery and restaurant, finance and accounting, recreation and sports, sales and customer services, marketing and graphic design, finance and accounting, transportation, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing and production, and medical and health.
Even if participants fall short of being able to clinch an interview on the spot, there will also be career counseling services available at the fair. It’s all in the name of getting students to be career-ready after they leave school, with raffle prize opportunities available for participants.
The venue, the Downtown Event Center and Plaza, is run by the City of Fremont’s Parks and Recreation Department. It offers sound and visual systems, stages, multiple furnished rooms and more amenities. Residents and non-profits alike may book reservations to rent either individual rooms or sign up for bundle packages. Job fairs like this may choose to use banner printing for vendor kiosks and informational booths.
The Fremont Unified School District Student Job and Internship Fair is happening on March 26 from 4:30 pm to 7 pm at the Fremont Downtown Event Center at 3500 Capitol Ave in Fremont.
