Spook-tacular to celebrate Halloween in Fremont

Fremont’s Downtown Event Center and Plaza is hosting a “spook-tacular” event to ring in Halloween this October.

Organized by the City of Fremont, in partnership with the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, this trick-or-treating event will feature a costume contest, family-friendly attractions, raffle prizes, Halloween-themed activity booths, games, music and food from local restaurateurs.

A trick-or-treat wonderland attraction for children (2-10 years old) will be set up where participants can visit miniature houses to collect candy, with each group attending in 30-minute time slots per ticket, which are available for presale online for $15.

Photo opportunities and carnival amusements will also be part of the included activities.

Children who attend the event must be accompanied by an adult at all times, with strollers, wagons and similar large items not allowed in the indoor portion of the venue, which will become the focal point of the entire carnival should rain or inclement weather occur.

The Downtown Event Center and Plaza is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, with stages, a dance floor and patio area, all surrounded year-round by local shops and restaurants in the heart of Fremont.

Sponsors for the event include Washington Health, Fremont Bank and Bay Area Jump.

Halloween events like this may choose to use Stationery printing to create labels for merch and candy tables and vendor Signs.

The Trick-or-Treat event is happening on October 23 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Downtown Event Center and Plaza at 3500 Capitol Ave in Fremont.
