The city of San Jose is hosting several holiday events this year that run until January, and they will no doubt attract visitors from all over, including nearby Fremont.
Winter Wonderland takes place at Paseo de San Antonio and on Park Avenue. It features a giant gondola, a carousel, and many carnival rides in both locations.
Also Christmas in the Park will be at the Plaza de Cesar Chavez for the next couple of weeks. The park is decorated with 60 musical and animated exhibits, many lights, and the 60-foot Community Giving Tree. Each Wednesday of the festival features movie night, with White Christmas shown on December 24 and Frozen on December 31.
Since it takes place on New Year's Eve, the viewing of Frozen will be followed by a New York time zone countdown at 9:00 pm, and musical entertainment by SAGE until 11:30 pm. The festival also features adoption alley featuring dogs and cats looking for homes and food vendors.
It is likely that these events are being widely advertised in the area, including in other communities such as Fremont. Local Print companies often provide products like Flyers and Posters to advertise holiday events such as these.
Winter Wonderland will be taking place until January 4. Rides cost $3.50 each or an all-day pass is available for $15.
