Relay For Life will be hosting a gaming and dining fundraiser to support cancer research next month in Fremont.
As a movement for the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life comprises regular participants and volunteers who help to raise funds for cancer research and patient care.
The UPickEm game will involve door prizes and four different chances for players to win $700 cash. Anyone who wishes to join can enter the game by choosing a selection of seven numbers for $10 per set. Players are welcome to purchase as many sets of numbers as they wish to through PayPal or the Flying Pigs Team Page on the American Cancer Society website, and email their chosen numbers to the organizer. When the game goes live online, number sets will be drawn at random to determine which players will win the available prizes.
Fremont locals who will be participating in the UPickEm game can get take out or dine in at Kirby's Sports Bar. A fifth of what players pay for their food and drinks will directly benefit the American Cancer Society. To spread information on community fundraising events, the hosts of similar occasions utilize flyer printing to distribute sign-up instructions and details to anyone who is interested.
UPickEm will be live in Facebook at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 8. The Dine and Donate fundraiser will be hosted on Saturday, May 8 beginning at 10:00 am.
