The Fremont Hub is looking to provide a little added entertainment value this June with their Music in the Courtyard concert series. The
three-weekend event combines cool music with hot deals to help add a little flair to summer shopping.
Three different bands will play each weekend, each offering upbeat music of various genres. First up is the cover band the Rolling Heads, who will play a variety of danceable hits. On the second weekend, Keys and Reeds will perform jazz and swing duets. Bobby Jo Valentine will round out the series with his soulful and upbeat take on modern folk music.
During the concerts some fun family activities will also be made available to attendees. Face painting and balloon twister will give children an entertaining diversion. On the first weekend visitors will also be able to play a game of Spin-to-Win; spinning a prize wheel for a chance to win gift cards, coupons, and prizes. Not to mention all the Fremont Hub businesses who will be at the concerts offering samples, Promotional Products, and activities.
The Music in the Courtyard series will take place June 4, 11, and 18 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Fremont Hub, located at Argonaut Way and Mowry Ave. Admission is free to the public. Anyone interested in visiting should check the website for more info.
