Fremont farm to offer Halloween games and activities

Fremont locals looking for a fun way to celebrate Halloween this season need look no further. This year, the Ardenwood Historic Farm will offer some special and spooky Halloween games and activities on their property.

According to Patch.com, guests to the five-hour event will be able to participate in several events. Morning puppet shows will perform a new version of the classic Three Little Witches tale, while a doll-making class will assist visitors with making their own Halloween-themed clothespin doll. There will also be many festive Halloween games available in the farmyard.

Two non-Halloween activities offered by the farm year-round will also be available. Train rides will allow guests to take journeys around the farm through eucalyptus trees and many rows of crops. Docents dressed in 19th-Century clothing will guide guests on tours through the restored 19-room Queen Anne Victorian-style farmhouse now known as the Patterson House Museum.

As reservations are not required, those who wish to participate need only to show up at the Ardenwood Historic Farm gates on Sunday, October 31, at 10:15 am. The farm itself is located at 34600 Ardenwood Blvd.

For more information, including expected entry fees, interested parties can either call (510)544-2797 or locate an Ardenwood Historic Farm brochure. Local brochure printing services often help out in the run-up to events like this.
