Fremont celebrates birds and butterflies in annual festival

The Bird and Butterfly Festival in Fremont is returning to the Coyote Hills Regional Park this spring.

A celebration of pollinators is not the only thing people can expect to encounter at the event, as there will also be live entertainment, tours of the Nectar Garden, and nature crafts for the whole family.

A puppet show will also be part of the festivities, as well as a performance from Steady Eddy and the Shakers. The eight-person ensemble band covers Motown hits. They have been performing in the local region since 2016, having participated in more than 300 events and singing songs in both English and Spanish.

There will also be a special presentation about pollinators at the Bird and Butterfly festival, conducted by the Coyote Hills Regional Park’s staff. Outside the festival, the staff work to educate the public on a variety of other topics, including the local ecology, nature exploration, and Native American history. Public events at the park regularly occur during the weekend, with naturalists and educators curating the programs and educational presentations on offer.

Nature events like these may choose to use Graphic Design Services for promotional material in Print and online.

Now in its 25th year, the event is happening on Sunday, June 1st from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont at 8000 Patterson Ranch Rd.
