The 13th annual Fremont Education Foundation Gala is being held in two weeks’ time. The foundation helps improve education through grants to teachers in the Fremont Unified School District (FUSD).
This year, the theme is ‘Seuss-a-gala’, and guests are encouraged to dress in costumes relating to Dr. Seuss characters. A three course dinner will be served, followed by entertainment provided by students of the FUSD, and a game of Heads or Tails for prizes.
Another opportunity to win items, including wine baskets and museum tickets, can be found in raffles or through the silent auction. In addition, teacher Paul Berry and former trustee Lara Calvert-York will be honored for their contributions to education. Those who plan to attend are asked to bring along a book to donate to the school district.
Sponsorships can be taken up from $500 up to $5,000. Local businesses that wish to help the Foundation and put their weight behind this event may decide to publicize their involvement in by having Fremont Print companies provide them with marketing materials such as Flyers.
The Fremont Education Foundation Gala is taking place on February 27 from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Tickets are $80 for the general public and $55 for teachers, and tables of 10 are also available for $800. Call 510-413-3700 to learn more about this event and the Foundation.
