A flea market will be set up at a local market to honor National Craft Month.
The Makers Market will feature a wide range of entertainment, vendors, and community activities. More than 50 vendors will participate, offering a variety of products. Shoppers will have the opportunity to explore bargain bins with prices set between $3 and $10.
Live music will be provided by DJ ExTrEmo, and attendees can participate in lawn games and family-friendly activities. A free Kids Fun Zone will be available, featuring a bouncy house and craft stations.
Car enthusiasts will have the opportunity to attend a Cars & Coffee meet-up, held in collaboration with Street Sense in Lot G at Mission Boulevard and Pine Street. This portion of the event will provide an opportunity for car owners and enthusiasts to display and discuss their vehicles.
The market will also highlight local artists and small businesses in recognition of National Craft Month. Vendors will offer a selection of art, handmade goods, crocheted items, candles, clothing, and jewelry. Vendors tend to decorate their booths with banner printing.
Those interested in selling or promoting products at the event may reserve spaces in advance. A single 9-by-18-foot space is available for $25, while a standard 18-by-18-foot space is priced at $40. A one-time application fee of $10 is required.
The Makers Market is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 8, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Ohlone College in Fremont, California.
