Killing My Lobster has scheduled the online Sketch Comedy Writing 1 course to begin next month close to Fremont.
Throughout this informative program, students from Fremont and surrounding communities will receive an in-depth education on the ins and outs of writing effective comedy sketches. The course will involve writing exercises, feedback from the instructors, and assignments to be completed outside of class time. Students are advised to only register for the course if they have three or four extra hours per week to devote to writing. Printing services are commonly chosen by participants of similar online courses to produce convenient, printed Copies of study materials.
The Sketch Comedy Writing 1 course will be hosted as an entirely virtual Zoom event.
According to individual preferences, those who are interested in the course can choose to register for Monday classes or Wednesday classes. Both options are priced at $399 per student. Instructors Tirumari Jothi, Molly Sanchez, and teaching assistance Rebecca Pierce will direct the Monday program. For the Wednesday course, Dominique Gelin, Sean Owens, and assistant Max Maliga will lead the event.
The Monday sessions of this seven-week course are set to proceed from San Francisco between Monday, March 15 to Friday, April 19 with the final event taking place on Monday, April 26. Wednesday classes will occur from March 24 to April 28 with the concluding event scheduled for Wednesday, May 5.
