Meet in the Street Castro Valley has announced its eighth annual electric light parade, promising a night of live entertainment and musical performances for everyone who attends.
Talented musical groups will be standing on top of the floats besides lines of marching bands playing their instruments. The Castro Valley Light Parade features holiday-themed floats lead by organizations and churches from nearby towns like Fremont. Families will get to see antique vehicles, motorcycles, and service dogs, covered in an array of bright lights.
This light parade embraces Christmas festivities ahead of time, given that Mr. and Mrs. Claus are going to greet onlookers at the end of the line. Afterward, a group of dressed-up Christmas trees will dance for the audience. Best of all, this parade is completely free to the public. A street event like this one often uses flyer printing to be noticed by more people living in the area.
There will be plenty of merchants and other non-profits selling refreshments, artwork, and locally sourced goods at a discount price. Furthermore, the event organizers plan to announce upcoming awards for the best school entry, use of lights, and musical group contests. Those who applied to join the parade would need to show up with lights fully wrapped around their car, wagon, or bike.
The parade has been scheduled for Saturday, November 09 at 5:30 PM, in downtown Castro Valley.
