The Fremont Burger & Brew Fest was established with the goal of celebrating the many types of craft North California has to offer, and its eighth edition is coming to Fremont.
This festival gives lovers of local brews the chance to try out some of the brewers’ latest samples. The festival will feature breweries from the bay area as well as live entertainment, vendors, and a burger-cooking competition known as the Burger Throwdown. Even those not interested in beers or spirits are encouraged to attend anyway to enjoy the burgers and see what the vendors have to offer. Vendors can use Print shops to spruce up their stands.
Two types of tickets are available for tasters. The beer-only ticket gives patrons a four-ounce tasting glass along with a beer-only wristband. The wristband gives the patron access to unlimited pours but only of beer, while the beer and spirits ticket gives patrons a wristband that gives them access to unlimited tastings of beer and two tastings per distillery of spirits that were distilled locally. Food is not included with either wristband.
The 8th Annual Fremont Burger & Brew Fest is scheduled for May 20, and it will be on from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Entry is free without tasting. The beer-tasting Packaging is on sale for $50 while the beer and spirit tasting tickets are $60.
