The 4th annual Warrior Family 5K will be held again this year sponsored by Fremont Christian School. Student programs at the school will benefit from the proceeds of this event.
The school was formed in 1968 and supports the education of all ages from early learning through high school. The school has a variety of academic, fine arts, and athletics programs, and this 5K is one of the school’s yearly fundraisers.
Print shops can help race organizers with a Logo Design which can be printed on T-Shirts and other race materials. For this particular race, participants will receive a T-shirt and a finisher’s medal. T-shirt sizes can be selected during registration but early registration is encouraged to ensure size availability.
Race organizers want participants to enjoy the event and show off their warrior spirit. Post-race refreshments and water will be available. Finishers can also enjoy music at the finish line, along with the encouragement of the crowd.
The race will begin at 8:00 am and participants are asked to begin to gather at 7:30 am. Those participating must be able to complete the 3.1-mile route in two hours or less.
The race will be held on Saturday, October 5 at Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area. The recreation area is located at 2100 Isherwood Way.
