Covina community invited to eat with the Easter Bunny
Covina children and families who are looking for Easter-themed events this spring are invited to the Covina Senior and Community Center for Breakfast with the Bunny.
Ideal for families with children between the ages of 2 and 8, the event includes a breakfast spread featuring pancakes and other items, a bunny hop dance party, Easter Bunny photo opportunities, crafts, and more.
Plenty of other dishes will be served at the event to fuel the activities, including fresh fruit, drinks, pastries and more.
Eastertime celebrations have involved taking part in a feast for hundreds of years. Today, Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. However, many older traditions recognizing the Spring Equinox, including feasts with fresh fruit, bread and honey, and even decorating eggs are still prevalent today.
A requirement for the Breakfast with the Bunny event is preregistration, which can be done online, over the phone, or in-person at the Covina Parks and Recreation Office. There is no registration on the day of the event. The event is sponsored in part by the Kiwanis Club of Covina-South Hills.
Community dining events like these may choose to use brochure printing to create menus.
The Breakfast with the Bunny event is happening on April 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Covina Senior and Community Center at 815 N Barranca Ave. Tickets are $10 and children under the age of 2 are free.
