Kevin Nealon, the Saturday Night Live alum and co-star of Weeds, is coming to the Laugh Factory Covina for two shows next weekend.
Having been with SNL from the mid-‘80s to the mid-‘90s, Nealon made a name for himself by using his buttoned-up persona to make his signature dry delivery of jokes satirizing the nightly news as part of the long-running sketch comedy show’s “Weekend Update” segment.
Nealon has since branched off into TV and movie acting roles, for which he has a SAG nomination, in addition to being an accomplished author. He even scored an Emmy nomination for writing for SNL in the late ‘80s.
With shows like Man With A Plan, Nealon continues to be a presence in mainstream media, as well as dabbling in his own personal passion projects, such as Hiking with Keving, a digital series he created and hosts himself. With movie and TV appearances in titles such as The Wedding Singer, Rozanne, Anger Management, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Monk, Nealon has remained dedicated to his original craft of stand-up comedy.
