Singer-songwriter takes stage in Covina

Covina’s Lincoln House is hosting a concert by Ryan Bieber this March.

Coming from humble beginnings with his garage-recorded acoustic EP, Home Again, Ryan Bieber has committed to releasing one new song per months his year, leading to the release of his forthcoming album, Eventually It’s OK.

Bieber explores coming-of-age semi-autobiographical themes in his music, including his previous album, Late Bloomer, meant as a reflection of his self-perception.

Opening himself up to new artist collaborations, Bieber weaves lyrics with guitar melodies that tackle topics such as heartbreak and finding one’s voice in an uncertain world.

Wearing the influences of Zach Bryan, John Mayer and Jimi Hendrix on his sleeve, Bieber combines the self-reflective lyric writing of folk music with the vocal stylings of pop music, topped off with a blues-influenced approach to the guitar.

Still finding his place in the world after moving from New York to Los Angeles to follow his dream of achieving success in music, the 24-year-old Bieber takes a modern approach to marketing, using social media sites like Instagram and YouTube to share vlogs, guitar solos and song covers with his audience.

Concerts like this may choose to use flyer printing for low-cost promotion, audience programs and event advertisements.

Ryan Bieber is performing on March 12 at 7 p.m. at Lincoln House at 144 W Badillo St. in Covina.
