Santa will visit Carson again this year, but his appearance will be slightly different.
The Santa Fest is going ahead as a drive-through event, which will help keep people safe. Everyone is asked to follow the new procedures. First, no walk-in visitors are allowed. Instead, attendees are asked to Print out the ticket they bought online, and place it on their dashboard. Santa will be seated in his sleigh while visitors drive past him. There will be no photos with Santa at this venue, but people are free to take selfies. Official photos with Santa can be taken by appointment later, as he will be at Santa Village.
Breakfast is not included this year, and the wait time is expected to be about six minutes. Live entertainment will be provided by people in costume interacting with waiting cars, and treats will be distributed safely by taking them directly from their Boxes, with workers wearing gloves handing them out. Finally, everyone working the event will have their temperature taken, and hand sanitizers will be located throughout the waiting area.
Everyone is encouraged to decorate their car for the season, and the best 10 will win gift cards to Panera Bread.
Although the event is free, people are required to register, and donations of toys for area children are encouraged. The date is December 5, 2020, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, in the Cinemark parking lot. Banner printing can provide directional signage for events like this.
