Advanced paper marbling workshop scheduled in Carson

Artists will have an opportunity to continue their training during an advanced paper marbling workshop this fall in Carson.

The six-hour session is intended for participants who have already mastered introductory marbling methods and are ready to develop more refined skills through guided instruction.

Led by instructor Erin Pieronek, the workshop will focus on Turkish-style marbling while introducing more advanced approaches to pattern development and surface control. Participants will study the relationship between paint, water, and timing. Additional instruction will cover the use of practical methods and dispersants for solving common challenges that emerge when producing increasingly detailed compositions.

By the conclusion of the class, attendees are expected to have strengthened their understanding of painting on water and will leave with a collection of completed marbled papers. All supplies needed for the workshop are included with registration. The class is open to adults ages 18 and older. Successful completion of the instructor's beginner marbling course, or equivalent prior experience, is required before enrolling.

General Admission is $161.90, which includes the $150.00 registration fee and an $11.90 service fee. Registration remains available through September 26th.
