Although the health concerns have not abated, a theater near Carson is making it possible for patrons to enjoy movies safely.
The Roadium is a drive-in in Torrance, a short drive from Carson, and is continuing its film series. In February, the movies are “Lady and the Tramp,” “The Notebook,” “The Parent Trap,” and “Ghost.” “Lady and the Tramp” is a classic Disney cartoon that was first released in 1955, and “The Notebook is a modern classic from 2004. “The Parent Trap,” which was released in 1998, is a remake of the popular film of the same name that first came out in 1961. Last on the list is the huge hit “Ghost,” with the late Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg, from 1990.
The theater has protocols in place, and patrons are asked to adhere to them. They are asked maintain a safe distance at all times, and to stay in their cars unless they are going to the snack bar or the restroom. In all cases, outside the car, patrons must wear masks. The restrooms are frequently cleaned and sanitized, and when patrons place orders for food, they need to maintain the recommended distance.
The movie schedule is “Lady and the Tramp” on February 5; “The Notebook” on February 12; “The Parent Trap” on February 19; and “Ghost” on February 26. All films start at 7:00 pm. Poster printing can be used to create advertising for events like this.
